The IQC 201: Basic Keelboat Instructor Qualification Clinic is the first step in becoming a certified sailing instructor with the American Sailing Association. The ASA 202 is a one-day clinic designed to verify your ASA 102 Basic Keelboat Sailing 2 Instructor qualification. Your competency will be compared with the ASA’s internationally recognized Standards. This is not a course of instruction as such. While you will gain valuable knowledge from your experience in the Clinic, your competence as a sailor and a teacher is presumed; you are attending to become certified to instruct.
